Recent visitors to EYFS!

EYFS have been very lucky this week as they have recieved three visitors! The first was Mr Emberton who brought his remote controlled car and drone (an aerial vehicle) to show to the children. They were very impressed to learn how they moved and loved watching them on the ground and in the air. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold for the remote controlled car and it ran out of power fairly quickly. The drone, on the other hand, flew high into the sky and moved at a fast pace. It really captivated them.

The second visitor of the week was Mrs Fletcher, a Lolly Pop Lady who already helps a lot of the children to cross the road in front of our school safely every day. Mrs Fletcher explained her job and answered their many questions. The children were very interested in her bright reflective uniform and sign.

The final visitor was a Mummy from the Bumblebee class. In the past she had worked as an Air Hostess with many airlines. She spoke to the Ladybirds and Bumblebees about the different parts on an aeroplane, discussed her job and even let them see some of her old uniform. It was very informative, especially for those children who had never been on an aeroplane journey.

We would like to thank all visitors for taking the time to come and talk to our children :)
